Meksmar Natural and Healthy Products Production & Marketing Co. Ltd. was established in 1997 in Ankara / TURKEY.

Since the early 2000s, Meksmar has modernized its machinery and packaging lines, adopting advanced technologies for the production of herbal pastilles and cough drops. In 2003, Meksmar began manufacturing pharmaceutical-grade lozenges, marking a strategic shift toward specialization in herbal lozenge and pastille production. Over the years, the company has become one of the key players in the pharmacy lozenges market.

With a strong focus on innovation and formulation development, Meksmar currently holds over 20 registered brands in the market. Our R&D activities are carried out with consistency and scientific rigor. We continuously invest in the education and training of our staff and collaborate with universities to enhance our know-how and develop unique, effective formulations.

Innovation has become a core principle at Meksmar. We are proud to be the first company in the world to produce lozenges containing natural powdered ginger—a formulation that has been patented. Additionally, we incorporate liquid propolis extract into some of our formulas, utilizing its disinfectant and soothing properties.

Many Meksmar products are made entirely from natural ingredients such as herbal oils, powders, and plant extracts. In some formulations, these natural ingredients are combined with active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Meksmar currently commands approximately 30–35% of the Turkish pharmacy lozenge market. In addition to strong domestic sales, our products are exported to over 30 countries across 4 continents.

All production is carried out in accordance with ISO 22000:2018, ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Meksmar also adheres to GMP guidelines and Clean Room principles. Our production areas are designed and validated according to Class C cleanroom specifications.

We operate with an annual production capacity exceeding 1,675 tons and over 70 million blisters, ensuring both flexibility and scalability to meet market demands.
