Establishment
Meksmar is established in 1997 at Ankara, Turkey. Starts manufacturing cough drops and herbal pastilles for retail markets.
Modernization
Modernized machinery and packaging lines, adopting advanced technologies for herbal pastilles and cough drops.
Pharma Quality Production
Begins to produce 'pharma quality' products, that leads Meksmar to get specialized on producing lozenges. Becomes one of the major players at herbal lozenges market.
Innovation & R&D
Innovation has become a core principle at Meksmar. We are proud to be the first company in the world to produce lozenges containing natural powdered ginger—a formulation that has been patented. Additionally, we incorporate liquid propolis extract into some of our formulas, utilizing its disinfectant and soothing properties.
Many Meksmar products are made entirely from natural ingredients such as herbal oils, powders, and plant extracts. In some formulations, these natural ingredients are combined with active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. We currently hold over 20 registered brands in the market.
